Me Luis Baz graduated in law from Laval University (LL.B.) and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1996. He practices in corporate law, mainly in business transfer, corporate finance and corporate restructuring.

In the past, he was responsible for teaching an international markets course at Cégep François-Xavier-Garneau as part of the international trade diploma program. He has also taught at Laval University an introductory course in oral and written advocacy as part of a bachelor degree.

He has participated in the drafting of several legal documents, including the first edition of the Précis de procédure civile and the Petit guide de rédaction du mémoire d'appel.

He has organized and lectured in corporate law and legal informatics. His practice has led him to participate in several boards, including a nomination for the provisional board of directors to create the new association of Quebec lawyers, the APAAQ (Association Professionnelle des Avocates et Avocats du Québec).

His practice involves advising his clientele on the various steps and challenges through a company. He has represented many cities, government agencies and companies on regional, provincial, national and international issues.
